Serenity Funeral Home and Obituaries: Remembering Wall Bungay's Life of Love and Service

The sudden loss of Wallace (Wall) Bungay has left a hole in the hearts of his loved ones, family, and friends. The Serenity Funeral Home and Obituaries team is honored to celebrate his life and legacy.

Born on 'date', Wall lived a full 71 years before passing away on December 25th, 2021, at his home in Grand Bank. He spent most of his life working at the fish plant for an impressive 50 years, dedicating himself to his work and family.

Wall was a devoted husband to his soulmate, Suzanne, with whom he shared 49 wonderful years of marriage. Together, they had three children: Max Bungay of Brooks, Alberta, Angela Denty of Boat Harbour, and Janice Bungay of Grand Bank. His grandchildren, Timothy, Tyler, Cody, Ashley, Ethan, Brayden, and Samuel, brought immense joy to his life.

Wall was known for his kind heart and selfless nature. He always put others first, offering help without expecting anything in return. He loved spending time with his family, especially during the holidays, where he would bring home two Christmas trees to ensure they were fuller when decorating. His love for trout fishing and berry picking with the kids is a cherished memory for many.

Wall was proud of his grandchildren and often said that if he had known how wonderful grandparenthood would be, he should have had them first! He cherished every moment spent with his loved ones, including his only granddaughter, Ashley, whom he affectionately called 'Pop's Princess.'

Throughout his life, Wall received love and support from his family and friends. Predeceased by his parents, Cecil & Olive Bungay; parents-in-law, Samuel & Agnes Clements; son-in-law, Greg Denty; brother, Wes Bungay; sister-in-law, Mildred Bungay; and brother-in-law, Clarence Rideout, he leaves behind a legacy of love and memories.

The funeral service will take place at the Salvation Army Citadel in Grand Bank on Saturday, January 'date', at 1 PM, with cremation following. Everyone is asked to sign the contact tracing sheet and register to attend the service. Please wear a mask and sanitize your hands upon entering and exiting the building. Proof of vaccination will be required when entering the building.

In accordance with Covid regulations, Wall's family will be accepting visitors on Friday, December 31st, 2021, from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM, with one family bubble visiting at a time, following alert level 3 guidelines.

As we say goodbye to this remarkable individual, we take comfort in the knowledge that he will forever be remembered and loved by his family and friends. His passing leaves a void in our hearts, but we find solace in the memories we shared with him.
